Brainwashing
The Art of Misdirection
Source: Brasscheck TV
Perception is limited - always.
The challenge is not to perceive everything, it's to perceive what's important.
The primary tool of the propaganda system (also known as "the news media") is misdirection, having you pay attention to the wrong things.
One of the missions of Brasscheck TV is to provide you with key background information so that when you consume official propaganda (also know as "new reports") you realize there's more going on than what the news commentators are directing your attention towards.
This video is a fun demonstration of how this works in practice.
Send it to your friends. They'll love it.

Exposing the Satanic Empire
Otherwise a good documentary, but the film praises Christ as God, when Christ is only God's eldest son and his servant - not God himself.
Sura 5:75. They do blaspheme who say: "("I AM") is Jesus the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord."
Whoever joins other gods with God,- "I AM" will forbid him the Garden,
and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no
one to help.
5:76. They do blaspheme who say:
"I AM" is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One God.
If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous
Penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.

BBC Look On Biometric Technology
Source: BBC
Biometric technology uses computerised methods to identify a person by their unique physical or behavioural characteristics.
Developments and uses have increased with demand to match concerns over international, business and personal security.
Biometrics is more personal than a passport photo or Pin, using traits such as fingerprints, face or eye "maps" as key identifying features.
Uses range from building access and laptop security to identity cards and passports.
However, there are concerns about the storing of biometric data and its possible misuse.

Fingerprint Scanning In Schools
Source: BBC
Tens of thousands of children are being fingerprinted in school - often without the consent of their parents, a human rights group has complained.
Prints are taken for a library lending system which the makers say makes lending more efficient and less vulnerable to abuse.
But the pressure group Privacy International says the practice is illegal and breaches the human right to privacy.

War Made Easy
War Made Easy reaches into the Orwellian memory hole to expose a 50-year pattern of government deception and media spin that has dragged the United States into one war after another from Vietnam to Iraq. Narrated by actor and activist Sean Penn, the film exhumes remarkable archival footage of official distortion and exaggeration from LBJ to George W. Bush, revealing in stunning detail how the American news media have uncritically disseminated the pro-war messages of successive presidential administrations.

Tony Blair Teaches Religion
Source: Freedom Rider
This is all too sick and disgusting for words. Britain's former Prime Minister Tony Blair will teach religion at Yale University.
That's right. The man responsible for giving Bush cover in occupying
Iraq and killing one million people will be affiliated with the Yale
University Divinity School. I hope someone at Yale has guts enough to
denounce this travesty.
It isn't surprising that Blair can only
get a job like this in America, or that the Bush family alma mater is
the place where he landed. Will he ever stop sucking up to Bush? I
guess not. When he tried to establish a similar arrangement at the
London School of Economics faculty and students said no thank you. The
British have sense enough to be embarassed by his presence. Only the
Bushies would make the case for this awful man to have a decent job. If
there were any justice in this world Blair would be [executed for his crimes] permanently
unemployed and friendless.

50 Reasons to Oppose Fluoridation
Source: Fluoride Action Network
1) Fluoride is not an essential nutrient (NRC 1993 and IOM 1997). No disease has ever been linked to a fluoride deficiency. Humans can have perfectly good teeth without fluoride.
2) Fluoridation is not necessary. Most Western European countries are not fluoridated and have experienced the same decline in dental decay as the US (See data from World Health Organization in Appendix 1, and the time trends presented graphically at (Tooth Decay Trends in Fluoridated vs. Unfluoridated Countries). The reasons given by countries for not fluoridating are presented in Appendix 2.)
3) Fluoridation's role in the decline of tooth decay is in serious doubt. The largest survey ever conducted in the US (over 39,000 children from 84 communities) by the National Institute of Dental Research showed little difference in tooth decay among children in fluoridated and non-fluoridated communities (Hileman 1989). According to NIDR researchers, the study found an average difference of only 0.6 DMFS (Decayed Missing and Filled Surfaces) in the permanent teeth of children aged 5-17 residing in either fluoridated or unfluoridated areas (Brunelle and Carlos, 1990). This difference is less than one tooth surface! There are 128 tooth surfaces in a child's mouth. This result was not shown to be statistically significant. In a review commissioned by the Ontario government, Dr. David Locker concluded:
"The magnitude of [fluoridation's] effect is not large in absolute terms, is often not statistically significant and may not be of clinical significance" (Locker 1999).
4) Where fluoridation has been discontinued in communities from Canada, the former East Germany, Cuba and Finland, dental decay has not increased but has actually decreased (Maupome 2001; Kunzel and Fischer,1997,2000; Kunzel 2000 and Seppa 2000).
5) There have been numerous recent reports of dental crises in US cities (e.g. Boston, Cincinnati, New York City) which have been fluoridated for over 20 years. There appears to be a far greater (inverse) relationship between tooth decay and income level than with water fluoride levels.
